Yemen’s southern pilot killed while trying to stop Saudi attack

SANAA, Dec. 9 (YPA) – A Yemeni southern pilot has been killed while trying to stop a Saudi attack in Pensacola Navy base.

The US army revealed that the Yemeni trainee in its navy was killed in a shooting by a Saudi trainee at Pensacola base in Florida, USA.

The US Navy announced in a statement that the American pilot, of Yemeni descent, Mohammad Sameh Haitham Al-Yafi’i, 19, was killed with his colleague, Cameron Scott Walters, 21, in the attack.

According to sources familiar with the family of the pilot had joined to the US Navy two months ago before the accident.
