SANAA, April 25(YPA) – Minister of Water and Environment, Nabil Abdullah al-Wazir, mourned Saleh Ali Al-Sammad, President of the Supreme Political Council, who was killed after coalition air raids during carrying out his national duty in Hodeidah province, in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.
Al-Wazir said that Yemen has lost a national and experienced political man worked honestly and sincerely for his homeland and people.
Al-Wazir pointed out that the coalition committed folly crime in targeting al-Sammad and all civil activities, the most recent targeting a wedding in Bani Qais in Hajjah province as well as camps for the displaced.
The Minister expressed his deep condolences to the Supreme Political Council, the Yemeni people and to the deceased family, stressing that the state institutions will follow the same path that was outlined by the martyr of the nation.
Al-wazir wished success to the President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat in leading the country in this difficult situation.
