Meeting in Hodeidah discusses plan to combat diseases, epidemics

HODEIDAH, Dec. 1 (YPA) – An extended meeting was held by the local authority of Hodeidah province to discuss a plan to combat dengue and reduce the spreading of other diseases in the province.

At the meeting, the officials stressed on the importance of carrying out the fog spraying campaigns in residential areas and filling swamps to reduce growing mosquitoes and insects.

The meeting affirmed the need to organize awareness courses among the people to cooperate with competent bodies to fight against the epidemic and diseases in the province.
