SANAA, Dec.1 (YPA) – A Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli troops south of Hebron in the West Bank, Palestinian media reported on Sunday.
According to the media that Israeli forces shot at a young man and arrested two others on Saturday night in Beit Awa, west of Dura city in Hebron province.
The media noted that the Israeli army allegedly claimed that the youths threw “Molotov cocktails” at his forces.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that it had reported a live bullet wound from the Israeli army, at the Beit Awa junction near Hebron.
Israeli forces have been closing the entrance to the town of Beit Awa for several weeks, which is located on the army’s military tower.
They also prevented residents of villages in the south of Hebron from reaching the towns of Beit Awwa and Deir Sammit, forcing them to take rough roads.
