STC’s militias fire at protestors in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias on Monday opened fire on citizens protesting in front of Maasheq Palace in the occupied province of Aden.

The palace’s guarding affiliated to the STC’s militias fired live bullets to disperse demonstrators from those forcibly excluded, who demand the payment of their salaries cut off by Hadi’s government.

The so-called High Military Commission continued its sit-in for the second day in front of the gate of the Palace in protest against the non-payment of salaries and financial dues over the past months.

The protesters set up tents in front of the gate of the Palace in a step up to pressure the government to pay their dues.
