SANAA, Nov. 24 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests against Palestinian citizens in the West Bank early Sunday, Palestinian media reported.
According to the media, the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, witnessed heavy clashes after Israeli patrols stormed the town center and fired sound and gas bombs.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the freed prisoner Yusuf Abdullah Salimiya, and missed up with its contents in the town of Aina, southwest of Hebron.
The clashes resumed at dawn as Israeli soldiers fired tear gas at the residents, searching a number of houses and interrogating residents, where they were suffocated.
According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation forces detained two young men from the town because of their presence near Burkan settlement and interrogated them on the ground for hours and then released them.
