Education Minister prohibits physical, psychological punishment against students

SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Minister of Education has issued an explicit order to all directors of the ministry’s offices, educational zones and school administrators to totally prevent physical and psychological punishment against students, educational media sources reported on Friday.

According to the sources, the Education Minister in the National Salvation Government Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi instructed those concerned to use educational alternatives to physical and psychological punishment and address any failure or infraction of students by calling their parents to inform them of that.
