SANAA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) said on Thursday that the US-Saudi aggression continues to detain five tankers and prevent them from reaching the port of Hodeidah, while only one tanker was allowed to enter the port.
“The coalition of aggression continues to detain tankers and prevent them from reaching the port of Hodeidah to cover the needs of citizens,” the company said in a statement.
It explained that the detained tankers are carrying a total amount of (58,457) tons of gasoline and (83,484) tons of diesel, while a tanker is still under inspection by the United Nations in Djibouti with a total amount of (29.695) tons of diesel.
The YPC announced on Wednesday evening the arrival of one tanker loaded with 29 thousand and 933 tons of gasoline to the submersible port of Hodeidah after being detained for nine days by the coalition of aggression.
