Islah party wages arresting campaign against UAE-backed STC militias in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah party on Wednesday waged an arresting campaign against the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council(STC) militias in Yemen’s southern province Shabwah province, sources said.

The sources affirmed that Mohammed Ali Nasser al-Qumishi, a member of the STC, was arrested by the Islah militants in al-Radhmah security checkpoint in Haban district.

The sources explained that the arrest of al-Qumeishi came to respond to a campaign carried out by the STC militias to arrest Islah militants in a number of areas of the province.
