violent clashes erupt among STC, Islah militias in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 19 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Tuesday among UAE-backed southern transitional militias and gunmen loyal to Islah’s party in Abyan province, officials told Yemen Press Agency.

The armed mercenaries of Islah party attacked home of southern transitional’s commander in Mawdiah district, leaving several wounded.

Meanwhile, the commander of transitional militias survived from assassination attempt by an explosive device planted by Islah mercenaries in Qauz area.
