STC warns of Hadi’s forces provocations in south

ADEN, Nov. 17 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s presidium on Sunday warned, during its regular meeting, of provocations of Hadi’s forces in the southern provinces.

A statement, issued by the council’s presidium, considered the ongoing provocations of Hadi’s forces and Islah Party’s elements in Shabwa and Abyan provinces a flagrant challenge to the truce efforts sponsored by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The statement called on Saudi Arabia and the coalition countries to oblige Hadi’s government to stop what it called provocative practices and violations aimed at obstructing the implementation of Riyadh agreement.

The council affirmed the readiness of its militias to counter any possible attacks from Hadi’s forces and Islah militants in those provinces.
