100 Microsoft employees take pledge to reject requests from “Israel”

WORLD, July 24 (YPA) -A group of technical support employees at Microsoft, in collaboration with the “No Azure for Apartheid” campaign, which consists of former Microsoft employees who were dismissed due to their objections to the company’s policies regarding Gaza, have pledged to refuse to work on any technical support requests from the Israeli military and Israeli weapons manufacturers

“In response to Gaza’s call, Microsoft workers pledge to refuse to handle support requests from the Israeli occupation military and government,” a statement read.

On Tuesday, July 22, Microsoft employees, in collaboration with the “No Azure for Apartheid” launched a campaign titled” We Will Not Support Genocide.”

They took a pledge not to own, work on, assist with, or aid in the support of tickets or their resultant escalations, such as Incident Management items (ICMs), collaboration tasks, or otherwise, that could contribute to genocide and other crimes against humanity in Palestine.
