UAE, Saudi Arabia announce some of their casualties on border fronts

SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have announced some of their casualties in the fighting on the Saudi-Yemeni border fronts, with army and popular committees, as Yemeni military spokesman Yahya Sare’e revealed that the coalition and its militants had received “heavy blows.”

“The coalition of aggression countries continued to conduct more than seven raids targeting civilian homes and property in a number of provinces,” Yahya Sare’e said in his brief daily statement.

On the ground, he confirmed that “the forces of aggression continue to escalate on various internal fronts and some fronts of the border.”

Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e revealed that the coalition and its militants suffered heavy losses.

“The army and popular committees have been able to counter escalation and aggression, stressing that the enemy has received heavy blows on several frontlines .”

For its part, the UAE has admitted some of the losses of its forces participating in the Saudi coalition on the Saudi-Yemeni border fronts. On Wednesday, the UAE announced the death of an Emirati corporal Tariq Hussein al-Balushi in the Najran front

He was killed during confrontation with the Yemeni army and popular committees.

Saudi Arabia’s Royal Ground Forces Command also announced a new batch of dead and wounded in the battles of what it called the “Southern front of the Kingdom “. On Wednesday, the Saudi media reported that 11 Saudi soldiers and officers were killed and wounded on the border fronts.

According to Saudi media, three Saudi soldiers were killed. They are: “Abdul Hamid Abdullah, Yahya Hadi, and Ibrahim Fath al-Din Bahis”.

While eight others were wounded, including “a major officer named Khater al-Zahrani, and seven Saudi soldiers are: Walid al-Sheikhi, Ghannam Abdullah al-Subaie, Misfer al-Mutairi, Hassan al-Shehri, Fahd Aziz al-Enezi, Salem Saleh Ghormallah, and Yousef Bakheet al-Shehri.”

The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces Brigadier Yahya Sare’e, said earlier that “the coalition of aggression inflicted heavy casualties from its continued escalation daily losses.” He added: “The aggression is losing dozens of dead and wounded every day in its continuous escalation.”
