Lebanon’s Prime Minister resigns from his post

SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad Hariri in a televised address on Tuesday announced his resignation from his post, according to Lebanon’s local media.

The resignation came after two weeks of unparalleled anti-government protests demanding political reform and combating corruption.

Hariri, addressing the Lebanese people, said,”You have been waiting since 13 days a resolution for a political solution to stop the deterioration.

He added, “I have tried all this time to find a way to listen to a voice of people, and to protect the country from security, economic and living risks, but we have reached a dead-end.
