Syrian army enters Amuda town on Syrian-Turkish border

SANAA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Syrian army units entered the town of Amuda in the northeastern countryside of Hasakah on late  Sunday, coming from al-Darbasiyah district, where army units were deployed, SANA News Agency reported.

According to SANA, The Syrian army, after deploying in the city of Al-Darbasiyah, northeast of al-Hasakah, secured the entrances and exits of the city on the Turkish border, and sent combat units to the town of Amuda, about 30 km east of al-Darbasiyah district .

On Sunday, Syrian army units arrived at the Syrian-Turkish border in the northeastern countryside of Ras al-Ayn after entering dozens of villages and towns to the village of Al-Kasseri and Tel Dhiab Zarkan.

The Syrian news agency “SANA” reported that units of the Syrian army advanced from the axis of Tell Tamer in the northern countryside of Hasakeh towards the border with Turkey and spread in four new villages in Ras al-Ayn area in Hasakah,  Um Harmlah, Bab al-Kheir, Um Eshbeh, al-Asdiayah in the southeastern in the southeastern Ras al-Ayn area.
