Syrian army units enter two towns bordering Turkey

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Units of Syrian army forces entered two towns bordering between Syria and Turkey.

“Units of the Syrian Arab Army entered the center of the town of Abu Racine in Ras al-Ayn of Dayer al-Sharqi countryside in parallel with other units to the town of Al-Kasra, which is about 5 km from the Syrian-Turkish border, and both towns are administratively subordinate to the city Ras al-Eyn.”  This was confirmed by Sputnik news agency based on a local source in Hasakeh province.

The town of Al-Kasra is of vital importance because it is located on the international road adjacent to the border and connects the cities of al-Darbasiyah and Ras al-Ayn.

In the context, the “SDF” organization began an attack on the villages of Lodi and Hamid, northwest of Abu Rasain, towards the town of Ras al-Ayn in the west, about 3 km from the Syrian-Turkish border, and 16 km east of the city lost by the group at noon on Saturday.

A local source said that the gunmen of the “SDF” organization stormed the villages shortly before, while other local sources confirmed the continuation of violent clashes inside them until the moment of the writing this report.
