ADEN, Oct. 24 (YPA) – According to information from Aden province, the “security belt” militias have deployed their snipers and groups of gunmen in several strategic areas of Aden.
Local sources in Aden told Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that the movements of the “security belt militias” indicated an undeclared tension between followers of the UAE.
The sources pointed out that the deployment of “belt” militants comes with the arrival of Saudi and Sudanese military reinforcements to Aden, which replaced the UAE forces withdrawn.
It is worth mentioning that the UAE-backed militias stepped up during the last two days of their hostile actions in the city of Aden, the latest of which was the demolition of a citizen house on its residents in Mansoura directorate, in addition to the control an area of the land of al-Haswa electric station.
The sources added that the actions of the STC militias rampage in Aden, comes from trying to prove sovereignty over the city in the face of the new Saudi occupation forces.
The STC’s leaders rejected the Saudi occupation forces’ arrival, asserting that there had been no agreement in Jeddah that would allow the Saudis to send their troops to Aden.
