SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier Yahya Serie revealed in a brief statement on Wednesday evening the latest developments of the battles with Saudi-led aggression coalition on the border fronts.
“The coalition continues to miss peace opportunity, represented in President Mahdi al-Mashat’s peace initiative, by stepping up its air strikes on a number of Yemeni provinces,” Sarie explained.
He said that the aggression coalition warplanes waged more than 170 raids on the provinces of Saada and Hajjah during the past 24 hours.
In his statement, the spokesman noted that the coalition continued its military escalation on several fronts, more especially on the border fronts.
“The aggression forces continue to escalate on the border fronts without making any progress,” he said, affirming that the coalition forces and mercenaries suffered severe blows and heavy losses.
