Israeli drone shot down inside Lebanese territory

SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – An Israeli drone downed on Wednesday inside Lebanese territory near the border with Israel, during routine Israeli army operations along the border.

“Shortly before, during routine border protection operations, a marching plane landed near the border on the Lebanese side,” the Israeli Army spokesman Avichai Adarei said in a statement.

The Hebrew daily ” Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that “the Israeli army has pushed security reinforcements into the area to carry out search operations at the site.”

Lebanese hunter shot down an Israeli’ Mavic pro spy drone that was flying over the cement barrier and taking photos of nearby residential areas along Lebanon’s Fatima Gate in Kfarkila, Al-Ehad news Agency reported.
