Suspects arrested for possession of explosives, rockets in Sanaa

SANAA, Oct. 17 (YPA) – The Interior Ministry in the National Salvation government announced on late Wednesday that security forces in the capital Sanaa arrested accused of possessing explosives, rockets, weapons, ammunition and smuggling of illegal and unauthorized pesticides.

“Al-Luqaya police station in the old Sanaa city arrested a 35-year-old man accused of possessing a quantity of explosives, two Lu missiles, an RPG with a filling and a taser and 280 Kalashnikov bullets,” the security media center said.

“The Azal police station in the capital also arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of smuggling illegal and unauthorized agricultural pesticides, and scored 28 cartons of prohibited and unauthorized agricultural pesticides on board his car,” the center added.
