Emirati politician: We must protect ourselves from “al-Islah party and al-Qaeda”

SANAA, Oct. 16 (YPA) – Activists on Social media circulated video footage on Wednesday, showing a group of al-Qaeda and al-Islah party militias involved in the exiled Hadi government in Shabwah, threatening the UAE and promising to pursue them.

An Emirati military analyst Khalfan al-Kaabi commented in a tweet: ” If those who were bombed are al-Hadrami and his legitimacy defending them, he wondered: Is those who bomb them wrong?.

“We must protect ourselves from them,” he added.

Al-Kaabi warned the Hadi government: “Watch out for the world watching what is going on and will not allow the presence of al-Qaeda and terrorist organizations even if your culture and 7,000-year history allow this.
