YPC denies news about releasing 10 oil ships held by coalition

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) on Tuesday denied false news circulated by some news websites and media about the release of ten oil vessels held at sea by Saudi-led aggression coalition.

“What was published is an attempt to mislead local and international public opinion and play with the feelings of citizens,” the company said in a statement.

The company confirmed that the aggression coalition and its mercenaries continue to practice arbitrary measures in full view of the international community, detaining oil derivatives vessels and preventing them from reaching the port of Hodeidah despite obtaining entry permits from the United Nations Office in Djibouti.

The statement pointed out that 11 oil ships carrying more than 93,000 tons of gasoline and 170,000 tons of diesel are still held by the aggression coalition and its mercenaries for more than 60 days.
