Saudi-led aggression forces prevent access of relief convoy into Durihamy district in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition on Monday prevented the entry of a food aid convoy to the residents of Durihamy district in the western province of Hodeidah, which has been under blockade for more than 300 days.

A security source in Hodeidah explained that the aggression forces prevented the access of a relief convoy, which comes under UN auspices, into the besieged city of Durihamy in conjunction with an intensive flight of warplanes over the area.

The source blamed the Saudi-led aggression for humanitarian disaster in the district, and called on the United Nations to take up its role in exposing those responsible for preventing aid access and to put more pressure on them in order to let the aid convoy in to alleviate the suffering of the people of Durihamy.
