Saudi-led coalition shells various areas in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Oct. 4 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries on Friday continued to bomb residential areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, in a continual violation of Sweden agreement, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the coalition-backed mercenaries fired more that 10 artillery shells targeting several areas of Jah in the district of Beit Al-Faqih district, causing damages to civilians’ properties.

On Thursday, the coalition mercenaries fired from their light and medium weapons at residential neighborhoods in the 50th and Sanaa streets in the city of Hodeidah and launched six mortars on citizens’ property east of Al-Saleh city.

The coalition forces also fired six artillery shells on farms and property of civilians in al-Hali district.

The source added the shelling caused damage to citizens’ houses and property in the targeted areas, without mentioning whether there were any casualties.
