7 people killed in plane crash in Connecticut
SANAA, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Seven people were killed when a B-17 bomber crashed at an ice removal facility at Bradley Airport in Connecticut, as it tried to land.
The seven were on board during the crash, CNN quoted James Ruffella, commissioner of the state’s Emergency Services and Public Protection Agency, as telling a news conference.
Six people survived the crash, Ruffella said, adding that he could not give the names of the victims because not every family was notified.
Authorities said 13 people, including 10 passengers and three crew, were aboard the Boeing B17 Flying Fortress when it crashed at the end of the corridor.
