Zarif: Washington will not be able to end any war it ignites

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Washington would not be able to end any war it would ignite, stressing that the US was the one who started the current cyber war with his country but will not end it.

Asked by NBC if cyber meddling in the U.S. election was a tactic used by Iran as Russia, Zarif said, “We have no priority in your election to interfere in.”

“That doesn’t mean you’re not interfering” he said. Zarif replied: “We do not interfere in the affairs of the other country, but there is a cyber war going on.”

“The United States began this war by attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities in a dangerous and irresponsible manner that could have claimed millions of lives.”

He referred to “viruses that were designed by America and the Zionist entity to target Iran’s nuclear facilities,” and continued: “You remember Stax Net, Zerf D and The Olympic selections, so there is a Spranwar war and Iran in the midst of it.”

“Any war started by the United States will not be able to end it,” he concluded.
