Update: 5 civilians killed in 3 Saudi-led airstrikes on Amran

AMRAN, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Five civilians were killed and two children, from one family, were missed when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition aggression launched three airstrikes on a masque in  Amran province, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The airstrikes targeted a nomadic family of Saleh Muqaffah inside a mosque after they escaped from their tent in Sawad area of Harf-Sufyan district.

The people of Sawad area continue searching for the missing children under the rubble of the targeted mosque.

In the early morning, coalition’s warplanes resumed raiding Al-Sawad area in Amran, bringing the total to 11 raids since Sunday midnight.
