Report: over 25 civilians killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours

SANAA, April 21(YPA) – At least 25 Yemeni civilians were killed and others injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes and ground attacks on Yemen’s province during the past 24 hours, Ansar Allah Media Center said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

 

  • In Saada province:

Five civilians were killed and others injured in airstrikes targeted Maran area of Haidan district.

Four airstrikes hit Baqem district.

Three homes were destroyed in three airstrikes on Laih valley of Dhaher district without any casualties.

Two airstrikes hit Aal-Ammar area of Safraa district.

Meanwhile, a civilian’s home was destroyed  in artillery and missile shelling in Munabeh district, damaging residents’ properties.

Missile and artillery shells were fired toward several areas of Razeh, Munabeh, Haidan, Dhaher and Ghmer districts.

  • In Taiz province:

At least 20 civilians were killed in airstrikes targeted their car in Arish area of Moazea district.

  • In Hajjah province:

A civilian’s bulldozer and farm were damaged by airstrikes on FAs area of Bakil-MAir district.

  • In Bayda province:

Two airstrikes were launched on Sawadia district.

  • In Hodeida province:

Two Saudi-led airstrikes were waged on Hais district.
