Saudi authorities expels senior official in Hadi’s government

RIYADH, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Saudi authorities on Saturday expelled one of the officials in the Riyadh-based government of exiled Hadi because of his political views.

The Saudi authorities have asked an adviser to Hadi’s government, named Mutahar Annan, to leave its territory quickly, because of his criticism of the situation in the southern provinces controlled by Saudi-led coalition forces and the policies of the UAE in southern Yemen, political sources said.

Earlier in this month, Egypt expelled an official in the General People’s Congress Party, named Essam Shuraim, after the latter’s appearance in Al-Arabiya channel, criticizing the coalition and its destructive policy in Yemen.
