Transitional council’s militias storm, loot pro-Hadi commander’s home in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 19 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias on Thursday stormed a house belonging to a military commander loyal to Hadi’s government in the southern Yemeni province of Aden.

According to sources, armed militia elements affiliated to Aden’s security director Shalal Shaya loyal to the UAE stormed the home of Colonel Jalal Abdul Nabi Maqtaa, staff chief of the so-called the third protection brigade loyal to Hadi, in al-Memdara area of Sheikh Othman district.

The militia looted cars and furniture from the house, the sources added.

This comes after the transitional council’s militia elements stormed on Wednesday Major al-Khader al-Abd’s home, commander of the so-called second special forces battalion, in Mualla district of Aden.
