Yemeni Army seize 500 km2 of Saudi territory, thousands of soldiers: Spokesman

SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The Ministry of Defense will reveal abrupt and exciting information about the size of Saudi territory that the army and popular committees have controlled and the number of Saudi soldiers captured, army’s spokesman said on Wednesday.

“We are going to announce a major military operations, during which 500 square kilometers of Saudi territory were seized and thousands of Saudi soldiers and mercenaries were captured by our forces,” Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Serie said in an interview with the London-based daily Rai al-Youm newspaper.

The spokesman promised to announce the operation soon.
