Several Saudi-Backed Militia Killed, Military Vehicles Destroyed In Taiz

TAIZ, April 19 (YPA) – Dozens of militiamen backed by Saudi-led coalition were killed on Thursday and others injured during confrontations with Yemeni army forces in Taiz province, a military source told Yemen Press Agency.

The Yemeni army forces repelled an infiltration of the coalition-backed militias toward Khalid camp in Mauza district and toward Al-Hamili bridge.

The army destroyed three military armored and damaged a military vehicle, during the confrontations.

Meanwhile, the coalition warplanes waged more than 17 airstrikes in order to support the militia, but their attempts failed.
