Shabwani elite return to Ataq, Coalition Operations Center move from Marib to Shabwa
SHABWA, Sept. 8 (YPA) – Dozens of UAE-backed Shabwani elite armored vehicles, accompanied by a military convoy of senior military commanders, returned from the UAE to Ataq, sources familiar with the case said on Saturday.
The sources said that the UAE occupation forces held a meeting with the governor of Shabwa and inspected the contents of the camps, which were controlled by the militias of Islah party after the expulsion of the “Shabwani elite” on August 22, from the city of Ataq.
The sources confirmed that the meeting came out several agreements, including the return of Shabwani elite militias to their former camps in Ataq, and the withdrawal of Islah militants from all camps of the UAE, with the transfer of the center of coalition operations with more than 370 mechanisms from the province of Marib to Shabwa.
