Amnesty calls for investigation into coalition’s attack against prisoners in Dhamar
SANAA, Sept. 2 (YPA) – Amnesty International called for an investigation into coalition’s attack against Dhamar detention center independently.
A coalition airstrike destroyed a detention facility in Dhamar province in Yemen,” it said in a statement.
It added that the coalition launched seven direct raids on the center, despite the knowledge of its warplanes and international bodies the location of the center and its annexation of prisoners.
Amnesty International confirmed the large number of victims of the Saudi raids, noting that the detention center in Dhamar has 170 detainees, and that the raids resulted in the deaths of most of them.
