Update: Yemeni army destroys Saudi armored vehicle in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Aug. 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Saturday managed to destroy a Saudi armored vehicle carrying a group of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in Hajjah province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, an improvised explosive device exploded and targeted a Saudi armored vehicle, while it was passing through Midi desert, killing all its crew members.

Earlier in the day, the missile forces of the Yemeni army launched two Zilzal-1 missiles targeting gatherings of Saudi-led coalition troops and to mercenaries in Hairan district, leaving heavy casualties.

Moreover, the army forces carried out two offensives against US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries in the west and south of Hairan front, inflicting heavy casualties on the mercenaries’ lives and equipment.
