Rotten food items seized in WFP’s depot in Sanaa

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Security services in Sanaa province on Saturday seized expired and rotten food items belonging to the World Food Program (WFP), which were about to be distributed to citizens.

“The expired materials were found in a WFP warehouse located in Manakha district of Sanaa,” a security source quoted as saying by Yemen News Agency (Saba).

The seized materials included 1,420 flour bags of 50 kg, 170 flour bags of 25 kg, and 1,500 bags of beans, the source elaborated.
