US sanctions 2 Iranian networks

SANAA,  Aug. (YPA) – The United States imposed sanctions on Wednesday on two Iranian networks for circumventing sanctions against Iran for its government and military institutions, the US Treasury Department said.

According to “Reuters” said the ministry said in a statement: One of the networks used a Hong Kong-based company to circumvent US and international sanctions and the supply of technology and components to people associated with the government and the Revolutionary Guards in Iran.

The ministry said the second network had acquired aluminum products for companies owned or controlled by Iran’s Defense Ministry.

The US Treasury also imposed sanctions on individuals linked to the networks.

These measures are part of the US economic terrorism against Iran at a time when the US administration is calling for negotiations and dialogue with Iran.
