HAJJAH, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Snipers unit of the Yemeni army backed by popular committees managed on early Thursday to shoot at least 10 mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, the 10 mercenaries were killed in sniping operations, which took place in the West part of Nar mountain and north of Muthalath A’ahem off Jizan province.
On Wednesday, the missile force of the Yemeni army fired missiles at headquarters of coalition-backed mercenaries in the west of Hairan front, killing and injuring dozens of them.
Moreover, a Saudi military vehicle was destroyed with an improvised explosive device in the same front, killing and injuring all who were on board.
