“Popular Resistance” controls security belt headquarters in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 33 (YPA) – An armed force calling itself the Popular Resistance on Tuesday took over headquarters of security belt militias of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, which is located in Sheikh Othman district in Aden province.

Sources said that the “Popular Resistance” militants in al-Memdara neighborhood fought a fierce battle using heavy weapons that lasted for hours, during which they managed to besiege of the UAE-backed security belt headquarters and then control it earlier in the day.
