Balhaf: The popular uprising in Mahrah continues until the last Saudi soldier leaves the province

MAHRAH, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The organizing committee of peaceful sit-in in Mahrah province on Monday said that the protest activities, which is being carried out are still continuing until the full demands of the people of the province are met, especially the departure of Saudi forces and militias.

Ahmed Balhaf, the head of external communication for Mahrah sit-in confirmed that the activity of the peaceful sit-in the province and its events continue backed the popular uprising that was recently called by the tribes of Mahrah governorate.

All segments of society in Mahrah support security, stability and emphasizes the defeat of militias and armed groups supported by Saudi forces outside state institutions, he Stated

He pointed out that the popular uprising represented as great push support in order to achieve the goals of the protesters, where it stood against the implementation of the plan of chaos in the province.

He called on Saudi forces to understand that the entire province of Mahrah rejects its military presence, its militias and tools.

Over the past two days, Mahrah province has witnessed popular and tribal preparations to review the chaos in Aden and its neighboring provinces created by Abu Dhabi militias.

The province’s tribes vowed to counter any expansion of militias towards Mahrah and declared their readiness to defend the homeland and its unity against the shredding schemes administered by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
