JIZAN, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday fired two Zilizal-1 missile at gatherings of Saudi-led coalition forces and mercenaries in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, the missiles hit the Saudi-led mercenaries’ gatherings and reinforcements at the east and west of al-Nar Mountain off Jizan province.The official confirmed that the missile strikes left dozens of the mercenaries dead and wounded.
Earlier in the day, the Yemeni forces repelled two attacks carried out by the Saudi-led mercenaries in north of al-Nar mountain, killing and injuring dozens of them.
Moreover, a military vehicle was destroyed by a kornet rocket during the attack, killing all those aboard
Furthermore, the army’s sniper unit gunned down seven mercenaries of Saudi-led coalition off Jizan region in the border province of Hajjah.
The official explained that seven mercenaries were killed and wounded in sniping operations, which took place in west of al-Nar Mountain off Jizan and east of Muthallath Ahem area.
On Sunday, five of the coalition mercenaries were killed in sniping operations north of Muthallath Ahem and east of al-Nar Mountain.
