Saudi-backed Muslim Brotherhood militants control Balhaf area

SHABWAH, Aug. 26 (YPA) – According to sources, Saudi-backed Muslim Brotherhood militants controlled Balhaf strategic area of Shabwah province.

Fierce confrontations broke out between Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) and the UAE-backed separatist militias in the area.

The sources said that confrontations led to withdrawal about 50 UAE military vehicles from the area and headed to Al-Mukalla city.

The Islah Party militants take control over oil-producing area of Balhaf after being ordered by Saudi and UAE officers.
