SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi on Wednesday met with the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths.
During the meeting, they discussed the UN’s envoy frequent and unproductive tours, in which there is little new to recycle in the narrow corners.
The leader of the revolution reminded the UN envoy of Sanaa’s previous positions in which it has responded to his initiative to conduct a partial exchange of prisoners and detainees.
In addition to the explicit and continuing demand for the completion of the Swedish Agreement, especially on the Hodeidah Agreement, after the implementation of unilateral redeployment by the Yemeni army and popular committees.
Economic understandings and revenue consolidation were also discussed, especially in the context of the worsening humanitarian situation and multiple risks.
The leader of the revolution also reminded the UN envoy to the importance of observing the required level of neutrality.
