Aden’s presidential palace stormed, looted

ADEN, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The presidential palace, the seat of Hadi’s government, in Maasheq area in the occupied city of Aden, southern Yemen, on Wednesday was subjected to looting and robbing acts.

According to sources, the presidential protection forces loyal to Saudi Arabia went under an armed attack that forced them to leave the palace to allow citizens to storm the palace and loot its contents.

On another hand, Osama Adnan, a journalist affiliated to Saudi-led coalition, held the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias responsible for the chaos and looting the Maasheq palace.

Adnan said that Crater district is witnessing a state of chaos after armed clashes for a short time followed by storming and looting of the presidential palace.
