Fierce clashes erupt in Marib
MARIB, Aug. 18 (YPA) – Fierce clashes on Monday broke out between Saudi-led coalition mercenaries and tribal gunmen in Marib province, according to sources.
The sources confirmed that the clashes erupted after Saudi-backed Islah party (Muslim Brotherhood)’s militia attacked on Abaida tribes’ militants, killing and wounding six of the militias, as well as destroying a military vehicle in al-Rawaik area.
Abaida tribes called for the Islah militias to free three persons kidnapped by the militia in the past weeks.
