UAE-backed militias patrol targeted in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 17 (YPA) – A patrol of the so-called Southern Transitional Council’s militias backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was targeted in an improvised explosive device in Yemen’s southern city of Aden, according to residents.

The residents added that the device was planted on the main roadside by unknown militants in Sheikh Othman district.
Aden has witnessed military escalations between the UAE militias and the Saudi-backed resigned Hadi’s forces in early August.
