Two civilians injured by Saudi-led coalition gunfire in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Aug. 16 (YPA) – At least two civilians were injured on Friday by Saudi-led coalition gunfire in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the two citizens were injured when the coalition-backed mercenaries bombed several areas on Ad Durayhimi District.

The official pointed out that the city Ad Durayhimi is under a suffocating siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression for nearly a year and the siege has led to the death of many citizens because they were unable to go out for treatment outside the city.

On Thursday, a child was killed and two other women were injured by shrapnel of two mortar shells fired by the invaders and mercenaries in the Al-Jah area of Beit al-Faqih district.

Moreover, two civilians were also killed by Saudi-led aggression bombing on the city of Ad Durayhimi and another child was injured by shrapnel from a mortar shell fired by the invaders and mercenaries in Jableyah area of At Tuhayat District.

Furthermore, the aggression forces also burned 10 houses of citizens as a result of heavy shelling on the village of Al-Ja’ah al-Asfal in the Beit al-Faqih district.
