Coalition loses strategic mountain in Jawf

JAWF, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces and mercenaries on Thursday lost the strategic Sabrien Mountain, as well as dozens of fighters and several military vehicles in Khab Washaf district in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The Yemeni army backed by popular committees carried out a large-scale offensive on the coalition mercenaries’ positions in Sabrein Mountain after operations of artillery, snipping and engineering units, which led to seizing control of the mountain and killing and injuring dozens of the mercenaries, as well as seizing amounts of weapons and gear, the official explained.

He said that the engineering unit destroyed a military vehicle carrying mercenaries in an ambush, killing all those aboard.
