IYC-Yemen organizes training course on solar energy systems installation

SANAA, Aug. 5 (YPA) – The International Youth Council (IYC) – Yemen, in framework of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Program, organized on Monday in Sanaa a training course on the installation of solar energy systems in houses, with participation of 30 trainees.

At the opening, the trainer Eng. Salah Al-Abdali presented an explanation on the characteristics of solar energy, as one of the renewable and clean energy sources, and its economic and environmental advantages.

During the course, the trainees learned about the solar energy system components and their functions, and the proper methods and techniques used to install the systems in houses to ensure the optimal utilization of solar energy, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment in Yemen.
