Dozens of coalition-backed militants killed in Bayda

BAYDA, April 15 (YPA) – Dozens of coalition-backed militants were killed and others injured in the Yemeni army’s attack in Thi Na’em district of Bayda province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The militants were support by Daesh and al-Qaeda elements, who tried to move towards positions of the army in al-Wahbih area.

Several military vehicles of the militants were also destroyed in the attack.

The army waged a fierce attack against the militants in several combat fronts in the province, the official added.
